Colombia - 2019 Annual Update

Dear friends and benefactors,

I write to you once again with the purpose of communicating to you our best wishes for this time of Christmas which has just begun, and to give you the news regarding the life of our Colombian apostolate.

The year 2019 came with multiple difficulties, particularly of economic character; for this mission, as of today, carries a debt of $35,000 dollars. This situation, common in the foundational stage of all projects, causes unceasing anguish.

However, this is not so. Our apostolic achievements and the fruits we have received, both on the moral and the material levels, greatly surpass the adversities we have faced. Therefore we should live in continuous thanksgiving to God our Lord, who reveals himself solicitous in the joys and difficulties of everyday to those who boldly place their trust in Him in the construction of His Kingdom.

Once again, the greatness of the Lord shows itself above all adversity, and says to us in our hearts: Why are you fearful, O ye of little faith? (Mt.8,26)

Confident in His word, we began working, and we entrust ourselves to the action of God. Only that way will our daily work be fruitful.
