Worship in a time of quarantine FSSP Mexico - , April 30, 2020
The closure of churches due to Covid-19 around the world has caused the faithful to be deprived of the sacraments, especially the Holy Mass.
This situation has forced us to look for alternatives to pray and prevent spiritual life from weakening. We know that such practices are not ideal and do not replace presence in the Temple, much less replace the sacraments, but man has enrolled in his natural law the duty to worship God.
We went through this crisis at Easter and the families of the Quasi parish of San Pedro in Chains in Guadalajara, Mexico, did not settle. They used the limited resources at their fingertips to give a special place to the day’s saints and used this as an opportunity to instill in their children the importance of religion.
In this brief compilation of images we can see a little bit of what it was like to live Easter from home.
