Embrace the Spirit of Lent by Supporting Mission Tradition
As we enter Lent 2026, we invite you to join us in a profound journey of faith, sacrifice, and service with the “Help Carry the Cross” campaign by Mission Tradition. This initiative, in collaboration with the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP), seeks to extend the light of Christ to those in need across Mexico, Colombia, and Nigeria.
Reflecting on the Sorrowful Mysteries
During Lent, our prayers turn to the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary, contemplating the journey of Jesus Christ to Calvary. His sweat and blood, the three falls under the weight of the Cross, and His heartfelt meeting with His mother, Mary, resonate deeply within us, fostering a profound spiritual connection.
A lesser-known aspect of Christ’s passion, revealed to St. Bernard of Clairvaux in 1153, speaks of an unrecorded wound on Jesus’ shoulder, which was said to cause Him greater pain than all others combined. This narrative underscores the immense sacrifice made for our redemption, urging us to reflect on the depth of Christ’s love and suffering.
Imitating Christ: The Dedication of Our Priests
Our Mission Tradition priests are committed to emulating Christ, spreading His divine light and love across the globe. Their journeys are not just geographical; they are spiritual odysseys marked by sacrifice and service. When our priests share their stories, we gain insight into the profound sacrifices they make daily for the salvation of souls.
Extend Your Hand, Join Our Mission
The purpose behind sharing these stories isn’t to seek praise but to inspire you, our cherished supporters, to partake in this noble mission. Your support for Mission Tradition has already transformed countless lives, bringing many closer to the Crucified Lord.
